From Lockdown Isolation to Global Collaboration
This started in 2020. Lockdown. Starved for human connection about my hobbies, I started designing FPV camera mounts for cameras I didn't own, for frames I'd never seen. What began as a way to connect became something bigger: a global network of friends and tens-of-thousands of designs made for people on every corner of the globe.
The MAX-FOV Breakthrough
Instead of guessing at protection angles, I came up with the idea of modeling every camera's actual field-of-view geometry. The result: maximum protection with nothing in view. No compromises, no trial-and-error, just math and precision. This really propelled my efforts to new heights of protection and popularity.
Combinatorial
My designs aren't one-offs. They're systems. Every camera mount supports hundreds of frame types, different positioning, various mounting options, antenna configurations... The possibilities multiply into millions of combinations. This site exists to let you explore those combinations, find what works for your exact setup, and be inspired by what others have built.
The Human Scaling Problem
Six years of individual support finally broke me. My desire for human connection turned into over-saturation. I couldn't help everyone personally anymore. So I built this temple of configurability: an actively maintained, dynamic platform for everyone—regardless of language or experience—to tailor designs to their most particular needs.
From Scratch
This site isn't perfect. I've written it from scratch over several years, just like my designs—with feedback and collaboration from everyone. Your input isn't just useful: it's essential. Every feature, every option, every improvement comes from real conversations with real users.
